Questions and shared learning
Questions from practice, study and everyday life can reveal where information is unclear, where evidence is difficult to translate, or where different parts of the ageing system are being considered separately when they need to be connected.
Those questions can help shape future HAE learning, evidence translation and discussion. They are welcome whether you are approaching healthy ageing as a professional, student, researcher, person, family member or carer.
Collaboration
HAE welcomes purposeful collaboration where there is a genuine fit with Evidence · Practice · People. This may include teaching and educational contributions, research translation and knowledge mobilisation, evidence-informed resources, academic or healthcare collaboration, community learning, and selected partnerships that protect educational independence.
The starting point is always the same: Does this help people understand or use healthy-ageing evidence more thoughtfully?
Principles for working together
Evidence before claims. Conclusions and communication should remain proportionate to the evidence.
Useful, not simply visible. Work should address a real learning, practice or communication need.
People in context. Ageing should not be reduced to diagnoses, deficits or products; function, priorities, relationships and environment remain visible.
Connection rather than fragmentation. Where possible, work should show how topics and systems influence one another.
Independent and transparent. Commercial or organisational relationships must not determine educational conclusions, and relevant relationships should be made clear.
