Healthy Ageing Education is an independent initiative founded by Sílvia Tavares, a healthcare professional with over 20 years of clinical experience across Portugal and the UK.
With a background in nursing across acute, medical, surgical, oncology, and frailty care, Sílvia is currently a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in the NHS, developing advanced clinical reasoning and independent prescribing within frailty and complex care.

This platform began as an educational project, but it is now evolving alongside real clinical practice.
Alongside structured resources, it now includes:
- reflections from day-to-day clinical work
- learning from independent prescribing training
- insights into managing complexity in older adults
The aim is not only to share knowledge, but to make clinical thinking visible.
